If you know the product category code or 'Department Code' (which is the first part of our item code, usually alpha-numeric), you can view multiple versions of the same type of part simultaneously.

This can be useful when looking for components for which there may be several possible options, including upgrades or modifications to the original fitments, or when shopping for similar components for multiple vehicles.

You may also have previously purchased a part from us and want to know quickly whether we carry a similar part for another vehicle or a variety of vehicles. A good example of this is 'Drive Belts', for which the department code is A1306. A selection of commonly-used department codes for popular items is laid out in the table below.

To search by Department Code you can use the main Search bar (in green at the top of the page), inserting the relevant department code in the "Part Number" field. When using the green Search bar, please remember to clear your selection by clicking the red 'Rest' button every time you make a new search.

To narrow your search you can use the "Product Name" field to insert a vehicle identifier such as the make or a specific model designation (eg. "PX" for Vespa PX models). This may not always work, so don't be afraid to try other search options, or contact us if you are struggling.

Otherwise, try using the scrolling Category Search bar further down the homepage for broad category and sub-category searches. This can be useful if you don't have a part number or are not sure what keyword or vehicle identifier to use.

Or go back to the green Search bar and try searching by individual product sub-categories from the drop-down menu. You can fine-tune this by choosing a Brand from the relevant drop-down menu in the same green Search bar.

You will also find that by clicking 'Shop Now' on the homepage you will be taken to a secondary page where the main broad product categories are displayed all together in the centre panel. Once you click on one of those categories you will be presented with additional filter options to further fine-tune your search.

Don't be afraid to have a little experiment with the various search options - you'll soon get the hang of it.
